I am a new metal hunter from south of France (close to Montpellier). I am 36 yo. I have a G2 and a SovGT as well but this last one has its board OOO.
I practice both detection on soils and on sand-beaches, but not under water.
We have no francophone forum deeling with technical aspects of metal detectors and yours is pretty well done!

Spent six months in France in 2000 - loved it - worked in Evry and slept in Paris, 1 block off of the Champs de Mars.

I'm curions to hear what you find in France - wasn't a detetorist back then. My hope for you is that it is always interesting and, on the outside chance, profitable.
