Go Up Go Down

 Hello
Just moved in Spain from California and ready to go beach hunting of course but also looking for Romans, Arabs and Babarian relics & coins .
Looking for a perfect light( I am a slender woman: Aouch!) MAGIC WAND!. I have a cheap unit I started with. It is ok for the beach. However I would like to break my piggy bank and buy a real good one for very trashed terrain conditions. Got these in mind:
T2, Golden mask power 3+ and the new "soon to be and very expensive I am sure", XP deus..
And finally I have around me plenty of old dried up river beds and I was wondering if these were good hunting grounds. Any thoughts or help from you guys would mean a lot to this newby....

Welcome from Arkansas SLYMANUS. Smiley

I am not very well in formed on particular units that
you are interested in,

But, there are two ways to go, as I see it.

You can buy an expensive unit that is supposed to fit
your needs. That would be a high end VLF unit.

Or, you could get a less expensive PI unit for the
beaches. That way you would have the prefered beach
unit.

In addition, you could shop for a  for an up-grade to
your land machine. That would put you in the possition
that many detectorist choose.

That is based on what I have learned from other users
on these forums.

In Arkansas, there are not enough beaches for me to
worry about a beach machine.

I am sure that others can be of more help.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

I have hunted a few creek beds. I would like to expand on that.
The creeks I have hunted have had mixed results, but I had
enough success that I think the prospects are good for a wide
variety of finds. One problem with that now is that my area
has already had two times the average yearly rain fall. It will
be hard to find a dry creek or river bed for a while.

The cold is starting to kill back the bugs and vegitation. I am
about to put more time in hunting artifacts.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog
