By the way, unless you have a visual impairment that makes it difficult for you to deal with lower case type, you might want to turn off your caps.  Traditionally, using all caps indicates you are shouting or angry or something and many people consider it rude.....and since we know you aren't trying to be rude....the rest of us would appreciate it if you didn't shout at us.

Hello from Mid West Indiana. Snow's melting, but not fast enough and more's comin'. So hang tough for a couple of more months. Hopefully it wont take a year for the ground to thaw after the snow has.

i havent been detecting long but man i got it bad .i got a cheap detector as a gift and i am upgrading.  i found several wheats and a buffalo nickel in my yard i have practiced diggin properly in my yard  found about a half a bucket of junk and a few coins i have been researching  areas and have permission for a few but i was raised a southern boy and as bad as i wanna go the cold and snow are too much .i can handle upper 30's but i aint gonna dig junk when its that cold lol! i dont even fish when its in the forties.

Sounds to me like you are getting off to a good start.  Spend the cold time doing research and learning tips and then when it warms up you'll really start turning up the finds.
