Hello Everyone.  New to the site but not a newbie to metal detecting....I've graduated to amatuer :Smiley  I currently use a White's Spectra V3i for my land hunting, my Garrett AT Pro for water detecting, and bought a Fisher F2 for my 7 year old son but he is just not into using his own detector.

Looking for hunting partners in the Southwestern Michigan area.

LOL...I'm not armed fully yet...in my mind.  I am gonna sell the F2 and I believe that I need two more items and I should be good for atleast this hunting season.  One I am doing my research right now on which Waterproof PI machine I want to purchase and two...I'm looking for a wetsuit.  I have been in Lake Michigan already this year and it was so cold it was painfull until my legs went numb...lol.  So a wetsuit is a must for my own saftey and to be able to extend my water hunting season.

Welcome from NW Ohio.  That Lake Michigan water is still kind of on the chilly side yet I would think.  Even if the water is chilly though the beaches are still fun to hunt as well.  I used to get a kick out of hunting the Lake Michigan beaches.  Good times.

My fellow locals are hitting the dry sand pretty hard already....but I'm the only one I've seen dumb...I mean brave enough to go into the water.  I found some clad, but I did not have a proper scoop so I was unable to retrieve a few good signal targets.  The next day I took a drive to a nearby dealer and picked up a Magnum water scoop!!  Now I'm ready and excited to go back in the water but 2 more nights of work...then I have 6 full days to hunt....wooo hooo...can't wait!!
