   My name is Todd and I have just moved here from Chicago. Back home i would just seek out relics, n near me, there was a civil war camp. They made it into a baseball fields. So, I went on a hunt and found multiple musket balls and a musket barrel.

 My passion got higher so I started hunting out east in Virginia.. 4 cannonballs went into my collection. Some union and confederate buttons and belt buckles.

  I have put my services out there in case someone lost a ring at the beach or help finding a broken necklace at a volleyball court (that was the last 2 i had) I reunited a class ring with its owner after 36 years.

Unless, I go back to IL, I would love to learn about areas with meteorite strewn fields to hunt out here or anything else as far as historic places to hunt.
I have been doing this for 15 years.....hunted a lot of private property and state lands. Whatever I dig up or see laying on the ground and its trash...I pack all of it out.
I always leave the land The same state as when I began the search (except its cleaner).

  I say that I love to target relics.

  If anyone in Arizona would like a hunting buddy, I sure could use some friends this far way with that same the same passion !

Welcome Todd from out here in Utah! Arizona is wonderful because you can do MD in the winter down there  Grin
The snow is just starting to melt up here, but it won't be long before we get another snow fall. Congrats on all the old CW stuff! That's wonderful you had an opportunity to hunt some of that stuff out there! One of my MD goals would be to do that myself.

 Technically, the camp was in Batavia along the fox river, it is now Langum park Great
