 I recently found this forum. I frequent other forums,but I found this site to be full of posts and interesting finds.
 I have been detecting since 1977. I have used a few brands of detectors since then.
 My main detector at the moment is the Garretts Ace 250. It has paid for itself many times over .
 I have also found some interesting finds with it.

Howdy Arturo,

       Welcome aboard.   When you say deep South Texas, are you talking the Valley, and if so, what part?  Lot's of potential treasure spots all along the river and in the Neuces Strip.   I'll be glad when I can finally make it home to Texas to stay.

I live in the Rio Grande Valley close to McAllen.
 Most of the old places are either redeveloped or fenced in.
