Just wanted to stop by and say hello to the foreum. Just alittle about me, spelling sucks, am able to get one every other week, and i love to find FREE stuff. Hope I can help, and meet alot of people and share info on hunting for the life changing object.

Around the Brazos river, i have been looking for rocks. I went to Sam Houston's house and did alittle around the fences, didn't finda anything. The brazos river has been my place that has turned up alittle. Just found out that i have 50 carts of jasper!!!! It wasn't with a dector just panning.

The medal detector has been taken out about 4 times,just getting into this, found some bottle caps, and saved a person from gettting cut on a sharp can in a volleyball court. Still waiting for the rings, and silver coins.

I used to collect rocks, too - still do some. That jasper sounds neat. The rings and silver will come - along with more trash, of course. Takes awhile to get in sync with your detector. Each time time out is a learning experience. I've read about the Brazos and it has a rich history of early explorers, navigation, battles, etc - good area for thunting. Wishin' you beepin' good luck.
