Hello from Florida

I have been a member of other MDing forums for a few years and have been detecting since 1976. My first detector was a Jetco BFO, not good in the performance department but fun.  In 1995 I purchased a Bounty Hunter Landstar and became hooked. I hunt beaches as well as land and have made some interesting finds over the years. I hunt with a surfmaster PI in the water and a M6 on land.  I'm partial to turn-on and go detectors and dig-it-all above iron. I have several hunting buddies including recently my father who after watching me dig up a gold wedding ring decided he needed a detector too...gold will do that to you...lol. I frequently hunt Vero Beach, Peace River, Charlotte Harbor, and the Florida Keys in the hopes of one day finding a piece of Spanish treasure. Anyhow...enough introduction. Hi  Their  Tapdigger,  this  is  Harold in Fla.  i  usely  hunt  the  Gulf  coast  beaches  and  some  land  also, Welcome  aboard,  i  usely  go  over  to  the  east coast  and  try  for  some  of  that  Spanish  treasure  but  no  Luck  so  far,  Happt  Hunting.

Welcome to the forum!
I've been wanting to hit those same areas for a long time now. I was even going to get a job down there and then the economy went down the tubes. Maybe when I retire at 90.
