Hi, I live in Germany, and I'm often on the road with the detector.
Also, I am a passionate gold washer.
I stumbled across this forum, I am in the German counterpart very active.

I would like to apologize in advance for my bad english.

Welcome! Your English is fine. I loved detecting in Germany. I spent a few weeks in the Bremerhaven area finding all sorts of old coins and the occasional WWII relic. I wish I had the time to go there again.

Where do you prospect for gold in Germany? Not the specific location of course, just the general area.

Since Germany is such an old country with human occupation since prehistory, I find it amazing that there are still gold bearing areas accessible by the public.

Welcome from Arizona.    I, too, enjoyed my time in Germany.   In fact the first time I ever held a metal detector was in Germany in the 1970's.   (and yes, the Bitburg part of my username comes from the kreisstadt).
