Hello everyone, Newbie here from the St. Louis area. The gold here is VERY hard to find. That's why I'll be visiting Indiana this summer as well as NC. A friend of mine is currently camping near Lake Hartwell in SC. Does anyone know of any good gold bearing creeks near Walhala or along hwy 11 between the lake and Walhala for him to get a bucket of gravel from before he comes back this way? I really want something to pan while it is still too cold out and this is the perfect opportunity to pan some not purchased paydirt. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have to calm my gold fever until better weather.
