Adolfo, you can call me BA---all my friends do.  Tucson is a beautiful area.  I have only been in Arizona for about 14 years.  Growing up in Texas and in New Mexico, I spent most of my time between Nuevo Laredo and Juarez and used to think nothing of walking through most parts of either city by myself (at least during the day time).  When (not if, because I refuse to be a pessimist) things calm down, my wife and I look forward to spending time along the Gulf of California (both sides) and in the interior as well as visiting old "haunts" in the frontier.

BA

BA,
That sounds pretty good.
I hope thing?s will calm down soon.
If so then I would like to visit some places around Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas and San Luis Potos?, there are a lot of stories about gold and silver that was hiding on their travel  Rider from the mines to the Gulf of Mexico to be shipped to the crown in Spain.
Kind Regards.

The great Texas collector of legends and folklore, J. Frank Dobie, included quite a few of those stories in his books.   They make fascinating reading.   I wonder how closely his telling of the stories matches the versions you hear and read in Mexico.   Like you, I would very much like to visit some of those places in the future.
