Hello everyone!

Wanted to check in after finding this site. Got interested in metal detecting after finding my now 10 year old metal detector in my basement and my 6 year old son wanting to learn how to use it. We plan on starting to check out local beaches and see what we can find and hope to learn more while reading up on it here.

We look forward to learning much from this site and others on how to use our detector and maybe grow into better equipment someday.
