 Hello
I happened upon this site and am eager to participate in the forum. I'm in Central Ohio and I am the current Secretary of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America. We are always happy to have guests out to our claim during warm weather. We do have fine gold in Ohio, left here by the glaciers. And we organize outings to other parts of the country in search of gold.

Yep, I occasionally pan for gold here in Arizona (usually take a couple of 5 gallon buckets home to pan in cool comfort)....Really need to get a dry washer for most places here.   

And, yep, we have a WHOLE bunch of fossickers here from several different continents including licensed Australian fossickers.

On my bucket list is looking for gold in Arizona. My husband is thinking about taking an early retirement, just to travel around on his Harley. AZ is too far for him to take me on the Harley so I'm putting it on my list of places to go for a week. Alaska and Northern California are also on my list.
