Garrett Ace 250 and Cen-Tech Pin Point

Go Up Go Down

Hello from Ohio, somewhat new to metal detecting and just bought a Garrett Ace 250 to start out with, also bought the Cen-Tech pin pointer. 1st time out found a 8 wheat pennies from the teens and twenty's, (1) 1899 indian head penny, (2) 65 quarters, 3 modern pennies and 1 rock that I can't figure out. P.S. found a ton of junk too. Overall I think I did well for hunting around the yard.

Hope to learn a ton here!

Welcome from the Blue Mountains of northeastern Oregon.  Your rock (?) is intriguing - saw it on your other post, but I have no idea what it is.  Enjoy this forum.   Wise

Hello, and welcome from Arizona.    That's a pretty good haul for the first time out.

So what part of Ohio are you in?   My mother's family settled in the Cleveland area around 1900 when they emigrated to the US, and I spent a couple of years in Akron a few decades ago.

Welcome from New Mexico.   Your Rock looks like a peace of Iron that has been through the Process.
