Hello from Ohio

 I'm new here and new to metal detecting,I didn't want to start this hobby with a very expensive detector so I bought a Tesoro Compadre so far I've found a quarter,3 pennies and a lot of nails and wire in a tot lot so  I'm very happy with this detector.

hi from minnesota,
i have a cheajp whites metal detector and it works great. I've found about $5 in change and a ton of empty bullet shells. a few people have borrowed it to find lost items and all of them found what they lost. would love to get into panning for gold. it looks really fun and interesting.

Welcome from Arkansas.

You did good on your detector. You just do not realize it yet.
I went through several mid-range detectors. Then I found
Tesoro and never looked back I have five Tesoroes, but the
one I love the most is the lowly Compadre.

Here is MisSpeedy sitting over a 14k white gold ring we just
found,



She is my sweethart,



The Ace 250 and Fisher F2 are really just less detector in my
opinion.

You have to go some to out do the little buggar,
