Friend suggested this site to me. Have had an interest in metal detecting since I was a kid. Borrowing a friends Tesora Cibola currently to see if detecting is up my alley or not. Another friend has suggested a Whites MXT if I do purchase one. The person who loaned me their detector took me out looking one day, at an old school yard, found 3 quarters, 6 dimes, 1 nickel, and 30 or so pennies, all modern and no silver or wheaties even but was fun never the less. I have a new area scoped out to check soon as school work slacks up some. Thanks in advance and I look forward to posting some fun discoveries =)

Tesoro and Whites both make good detectors. Personally, the more I use Tesoro, the more I like it.
