Getting back into metal detecting. Started when I was about 8 with a Jetco Mustang and an old Whites 1 knob detector. Grew up in the southeast Missouri Ozarks so I am a bit of a HillWilliam. Moved out to southern IN about 5 years ago. I am using my sons Whites 600Di S3. it is a bit to lug around, but it works pretty well.

Howdy, Allen....welcome back to the hobby and welcome to THunting.com.   if you ever get tired of that S3, there are a lot more choices now than there were when you first got started.....and some of the best don't have many more knobs than you had on that old Whites of yours (but then come to think of it some of those machines out there ain't got no knobs atall  Smiley )....
