Hello forum,

I am Mrs. Oroblanco - most folks call me Mrs.O, or Beth.  I subscribe to a few different forums - was a moderator at one for awhile - and, I, like Oroblanco, never use
any other name, and have been around for quite awhile.

Oroblanco and I have traveled together for quite some years, and, we have a similar interests - principally, treasure hunting, prospecting, metal detecting, mining, and travel.
He is the writer, I am the photographer.

I also garden, still do my own canning and drying and freezing of veggies every year (have been for 50 years, give or take a few), have a passion for horses - including riding, packing and training. I have studied under Pat Parelli and Clinton Anderson, and love most animals with 4 feet - including our huskies, and my German Shorthair.  I am "the" sucker for adopting the unadoptable, unrideable, unfixable, starving and sick horse or mule or donkey - and I have managed to get away with only a few broken bones in the process. (if I'd have known I would live this long, I probably would have taken better care of myself). No no!

Most winters will find us in the Supers, or searching for some long lost mine somewhere in Arizona - or New Mexico - or California - or whatever suits us at the time.

I love history - and, my pet peeve - fair warning - is political - and that is the politics of those folks who are trying to take our public lands away from treasure hunters. I try to follow ALL the new laws, rules and regulations that prevent Americans from pursuing their hobbies, and I read the Federal Register every week for new laws withdrawing more land, and restrictions of the mining law of 1872.

I hope to hear about great finds - great information - and intelligent conversation - and even some respectful debates.

Beth
(Mrs.O)

Hello Mrs. Oroblanco
I wish you all the luck you will ever need to find the lost mines in Arizona.
Remember to listen to the locals they can tell you about more information leading you on your quest and they love to talk about the past days, old mines and lost treasures.
I have found that some of the old mines are right off the road....while others will lead you around with pictagraphs on rocks. If you happen to find an old smelter the mine should be close by.
