hello everyone! ive been lookin for a place like this for years! treasure hunting has always been apart of my life. ive always looked for treasure and collected things and i began catchin the bug again (if u will) when i found a 1968 longines solid 18k gold watch in the woods and took it to a friend of a friend who works at a pawn shop here in town and saw old coins in the display case, when i asked about them he told me he had found them with his metal detector and i was worse than a kid in a candy store! i wanted to know everything and everywhere hes been lol needless to say he didnt give up his spots but sorta gave me the same pointers a simple google search woulda provided me so here i am and it kinda sucks that i live up north cuz i love the civil war stuff as well as finding coins(buddie of mine was tellin me about a bag of mercs he found by a railroad track up here) so you'll be hearin from me and thank you for this beautiful site!

Welcome aboard from Oz! Upstate New York has lots of French and Indian War, War of 1812 and Revolutionary War artifacts to be found. Don't despair. Relics are there for you, mate.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

honestly ive never been more impressed with a site ever in my life... ive just about googled everything and the info just never felt complete, ya know? but here....my god it will take days for me to read and i must read! the only problem i have is where to start lol.. yeah i have been reading alot on saratoga springs area (ive been there quite a few times for concerts) and theyre revoloutionary war history and i also live by charlotte beach, lake ontario with the old seneca indian sorry native american settlements or communities very close by and the war of 1812 stuff right down the street! i had no clue really til i arrived here on this site! i thought i was stuck living up north with nothing to hunt really but i was so wrong!
you'll never know how thankful i am to have found this place!  oh plus theres gold? where am i! lol!
