Hello John,

welcome aboard!

I've just read that you are using a Nautilus! That is a very fine machine though it is unfortunately hardly used by anyone.

I would be happy if you shared some of your expiriences with this machine with us.

Best wishes,

Christian

My best reason for using this machine is depth!  In the early 80's I used the DMC I .
The advantage was I could use it for both Coin Hunting & Relic Hunting. I used that model for several years with GREAT SUCCESS. The only drawback is that it  only works in good ground. No Hot ground at all. When the II came out I purchased that & used it several years until I just bought the IIB last year. This can be used in hot ground but is limited in depth. I maybe be purchasing a Whites soon because they seem to work well in Hot ground. I also have a Fisher 1266. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your expirience wih us.

Personally I would say that my XLT works good on hot / minearlized ground if it is balanced in the proper way.

However I can also recommend the Lobo Supertraq very much to be used under these rough conditions.
