Weclome abord! The DFX is a fantastic machine. I'm still using a XLT which serves me well, too but have thought about upgrading. I can remember well that wenn teh XLT came out first in Germany it cost approx. $600.00 some years later on it had risen to nearly $1000.00 and nowadays pre-owned XLTs still sell for more than $600.00 in Germany. A sign how well thought of this detector is.

Get the DFX if you can it is a great detector. I also upgraded from the XLT.

I guess I will have to check on eBay.com as it will be about half the price than buying it in Germany. Especially with the good exchange rate. I will have to safe up some money till next spring.
