I have just finished registering and I am going through the process of becoming a member of this forum. I believe this is going to be a good site and I'm impressed with it.

My name is Chuck and here is a little about me:
My dad was in the US Army so I got to move about every 3 years. I graduated High School at Baumholder American High School at Baumholder, Germany and ended up in Tulsa 28 years ago. I just retired from surveying for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation after 28 years. I have been metal, bottle, and arrowhead hunting for about 26 years. I am the owner and founder of Indian Nations Detectors.

Hi Chuck and welcome  Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of nice people here that you will meet. I'm impressed of your quick bio. I am also a collector of arrowheads for many years now. I have a question I hope you don't mind answering.... Are you American Indian or at least part. I'm 25% American Indian and it's the part I'm most proud of. I hope you enjoy the forum. Wise

Hey Chuck
Welcome to the forum from Mississippi- impressive list there. I went to your detector site. I had to laugh when I read your description under the Tesoro Compadre. Tabdog ( a member here will be delighted) he loves his Tesoro and that will make him feel younger too! Looking at Tabdogs find don't underestimate that Tesoro! Nice website too!

Hi Chuck & welcome. Clicked around viewing the pro and amateur finds. Looks like that section of OK is covered well when it comes to a detecting supplier and club. Good job. Sue

Hello Chuck,
I agree, Impressive bio. I am new to the sight as well and also in the becoming a member stage. I am also new to metal detecting and I look forward to all the little tips and tricks to it. I am an avid rock picker and I feel that this is just another piece of my part in discovering a little of history. I'm very excited to learn more skills that will help me with this hobby.

Hello findoldstuff, thanks. We put on a lot of kids hunts and the Compadre with the one knob, light weight, price, and size is perfect for small kids about 6 and under. They work good and are not toys like some detectors at that price. I never knew that anybody hunted with them. I sure hope he doesn't get offended by my description.

Hello Sue, thanks. We do have three good clubs in north eastern Oklahoma. I'm glad you got to see those pages. Our Find of the Month Contest in our Three Forks Club is so much fun. The two divisions give more members chances to win. I have to take more pictures of the winning finds every month and keep up with more points but it is worth it.
