Hi Koda - welcome! 15 years - bet you've found some nice items. What are you primarily looking for? PA should have about anything one could hope to search for. Sue

Hi Koda

Sorry to say I dont think scanning solid things like coins will work very well , maybe because there is not enough contrast for the scanner to identify  . I think you will have to take a close-up photo of your subject dont use a flash ,  illuminate the coin with a desklight or something like that and take your photo with macro setting , that should work fine .   Nice try anyway  Smiley

That is as good as it gets. That what the coin looks like..Remember its over 200 years old and who knows how long in the dirt...Scan looks good to me.

Ok Koda  ,  we all try different things to get them to work , things wouldnt get invented if we didnt experiment .    Im always pushing the envelope with new ideas sometimes they work sometimes they dont .
                                    Great

Enjoyed looking at your coin - the shield is in nice condition. Great find - lying there all these years until you beeped along  Smiley Sue
