Hi all im a new member from today on your great site!I whas usung my metal detector on a beach in south africa on diaz beach close to mosselbay and foun a couple of looks like gold goins about 1 meter under the sand can anybody tell me what kind of coins these are?

Hi sorry it wasnt a meter down but i almost dig about a meter of sand out,i used a garrette ace 250

Hang on Guys, he may of dug in a pit of some sort and then found these things at then bottom of the pit,
he did'nt say he detected them a meter down.
