Hi to you all, I am new to this forum thing, but joined as I have a problem with my Compass Liberty 150 ,
in that the wires have broken off one pair of battery supply leads and its not obvious where they came off the board. Serial No of the machine is #01291C  and the board No is 502-0131-11 rev.A
The attached battery is soldered to No 8 ( +ve ) and No 11 ( -ve ) .there appears a clue as there was a wire soldered to No 40 ?  I would very much appreciate it if anyone could let me know the
positions of these connections and also where I might locate a circuit diagram of this machine, to help in the future in case other wires become detached. I also have no Manual for it, which I would like to find to help me find out all the finer points of using it to its full potential .
Hoping someone has a machine and can help me on this ,
best wishes to you all, and thanking you in anticipation,
David

Generally speaking the standard for wiring is this. Black goes to negative (-ve) and red goes to positive (+ve).

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Welcome from New Mexico.

Here is a photo of the Compass 50.

It looks like the power leads come from the switch to the Coil end of the PCB.

You going to stick around after we find the answers for Ya?   LOL

Welcome from Arizona.   I trust that GD and homefire have you on the proper path.  If not, let us know.
