BH QDII and BH Land Ranger w/ Modified Little Wizard Probe

Hi All,

Nice site you've got here!
Name's Dave or AW or most anything you end up calling me.
Been detecting for quite a while, use a Bounty Hunter QDII and a Land Ranger 3 coils and a modified "Little Wizard" metal detector for a pinpointer. Got my trusty headphones, digger tool or three, home made sand scoop and gold fever.
I'm anxious to hear from you all and look forward to hearing about your finds.
Like prospecting and doing lots of research to find the good stuff.
Live way out in the boonies in Washington state so all my finds are few and far between but I have a heck of a good time and enjoy talking about detecting and prospecting almost as much as gettin' out there ... but not quite.

Regards,

Welcome aboard from Western Australia, abbreviated WA and that confused the US Post Office a lot.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thanks m8,

I can see it now ...

AW from WA sends a letter to AuDigger1950 in WA

... heck, my post office gets confused if a letter goes in the Out of Town slot let alone something like this ...
maybe I shouldn't push my luck.  :Smiley

I sent a package from San Diego to Perth and it went first to Washington state then to Liberia. No idea how it got to there. Then to Austria. Then, finally to Perth where it was nothing but an empty box. The side was torn off and nothing was inside. The trip took 5 months. Fortunately, nothing precious was inside.

Must have gone through our rural post office here when it hit Washington ... that explains everything ...
Pretty amazing trip for your package ... and all you've got to show for it are the postmarks. (Oh, and a good story to tell the grandkids).

Have a great one,
Happy Hunting,

AW from WA
