Have you woodcarved this eage? If yes, then I have to say you did an amazing job! I have tried to do some repairs on some of the wooden scabbards of my old Samurai swords that I collect so I can unfortunately tell how difficult woodworking is in fact.

Yes I did. I am a chainsaw carver in my second life(after retirement)Takes up a lot of my time and I want to detect a little more than I have been.......

I must say that chainsaw carving is a really unique hobby! I have not heared of it before. While Germany has a very famous chainsaw manufacturer (Stiehl) as well as a long carving tradition we do not have any wood sports at all. Also carving seems to get a less and less popular hobby here. It's a pitty. Please post some more pictures when you do a new carving job. Looks really impressive!
