Came across this site and liked what I see.......very friendly! Started MD 8 yrs. ago....first three yrs. doing the dirt thingy....2005 started drysand and waterhunting here in Connecticut. Enjoy finding old gold in the winter, 80% of my hunts is water....Pretty much yr. round. My weapons of choice are for drysand...White's IDX-PRO and water is DetectorPro HH PI. HH

Howdy, Joe.   Glad to have you here.   You must spend a lot of time in wetsuits (either that or you're part polar bear)

Thanks guys, We hunt in 30-35 air temp. and 35-40 water temp. here in the winter, So yes we are part polar bears.  Detecting lol In the winter, The sand here in the NE gets pushed out in to the sea...anywhere from 1or2 feet of it.....this pass two winters it hasn't happen so we got sanded in  Thumbs Down....in the summer, All the sand gets push back to the shore....
