Hi Sue, So many out most days, prob best or fav find Charles 1st half crown in VF condition but have bags of finds found cut half hammered today and another strange thing which looks like a lead token but the centre is raised into a pyramid with the dots on the side, its finds like this that are interesting + about 20 buttons will post some finds when i get round to it..  and thanks for the welcome

Your lead token sounds really interesting - wonder what it is - my 1st thought is that maybe it was for a blind person, but doubt that's correct - you lucky folks have such a wide variety of possible finds of all different ages. Congrats on all that you've found so far & I'm looking forward to viewing some of them when you get around to it. Sue

Well sue you never know what you will find here but getting permission to search can be  a real pain, i still like finding roman coins but other people in my club find them uninteresting have a silver stator from around 53BC from the local tribe here will scan and post they ran out of gold few years previous so would have been gold. You would be amazed seeing what turns up on the club finds table each month
one member from the club just discovered a grave from around 10BC with grave goods its a feature in this months searcher magazine, I think I need to get a lot better at detecting seeing some of these finds lol... away need to sleep its 22:30 here kids will be up a 6am so cheers for now Si..
