Thanks Xavier and BA
Never spoken to many people from around the world in such a short time. what type of detecting do you guys do?
what type of sites are there is SA and Arizona? In the UK there has been a recent hoard of Saxon gold, would love to be on the end of that. We have many Roman coins detected and the clubs around publish their finds in Various magazines, So envious.

Here in Arizona, I mostly coin shoot and relic hunt although there is a lot of nugget hunting done here also.  At least one member of my local club is very successful nugget hunting a little bit northwest of where I live.

Unless accepted history is wrong or some lost something they shouldn't have taken to school, I'm not likely to find a coin older than the mid 1800's around here.  I wish I had had a metal detector 40 years ago when I was living in Germany -- lots of Roman ruins in the area.

Those Romans couldn't take care of anything. Know what I mean?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello Che

 Welcome

There is a lot of history in Cuba. There has been in the past some amazing finds. I heard that there was a company that had a concession to search for shipwrecks around the coast of Cuba?

Hi Che

Here in SA the guys detect the old Boer war sites however I'm not interested in the war memorial stuff it's just that nothing resembles more a bullet than another bullet Boring if you ask me so I prefer the beach never know when a coin will wash up and let you know that there is something some where out there.

Regards Xavier
