Hi Everyone, just a wee message to introduce myself...I'm from Ayrshire on the West coast of Scotland and a complete novice to detecting, as I only got my first detector about a month or so ago. I've found hundreds of coins ( got a permission for a primary school which is closing ) ,also found a good handful of pre-decimal including a 1911 penny from the school but I my best find was on a field last week when I pulled out a silver 1816 six-pence, not that rare I know but I was elated and I couldn't believe how good a condition it was in.
It's been a long time since anything's gave me that excited feeling in my belly....but this does!!! lol
Anyway thanks for welcoming me onboard your excellent forum
