Staying in Port Isabel for the winter - 2nd year - can not find any locals that detect - so I mostly go to the beach on South Padre Island - lots of coins but no gold yet - sand is hard packed and not easy to lose something - rats
- hope everyone in the north is enjoying the snow - about 80 deg. down here - Bob T.

I could not go to the gold show put on by the gpaa - but am going to the one in North Carolina in the fall - and do some panning to make the drive worth it - watching signs and sympols on television right now and very interested in Jesse James treasure as rumour has it , he spent some time in Ontario Canda - and was a member of the Knights of the Golden Circle - sure would be nice to find a cache buried by him - Bob T.
