Trying to make my own

Hi room,

I am a complete newbie here, I am planning to build a PI Detector myself, I am planning to search for gold nuggets, gold jewellery,Gold coins, etc at a max distance of 1-2 Ft. Any suggestions are most welcome. I don't want to waste time at my initial stage digging. once I find good treasure, I will go for deeper digging. But for now I am not interested below 2 ft.

Please help me in choosing the right PI detector. Thank you.
