I live in Southern Ontario and are new to this i hope to get the tools this spring so that I can start collecting minerals. I would appreciate any help as I am completely green.

Welcome from Arizona. If you use the search function in the top right corner and enter "ontario gold" you should get some previous posts on gold locations in Ontario.

Dont know yet thinking of trying it all till I find a niche that I like. I dont live to far from Bancroft area supposed to be gem capital of Canada. Would like to try metal detecting. Actually dont have an Idea where to start but hopefully by the time the grounds thawed i will be ready.........Dave
