Another newbie here from central Texas.
Found this site from a link in another forum.
Have had my DFX almost a year and still learning. I'm sure I will learn more here too!

welcome and thanks for joining us.

The DFX is a very fine machine! It will require some time till you get used to it and learn to properly use it but it is one of the best detectors in the market.

What have you found so far?

Welcome to the forum! Lots of information and good friendly people here as well.  As Christian stated the DFX is a fine machine and as long as you are willing to learn the machine and it's settings it can be a very good machine for you.  There are many different settings that can affect it's performance as I'm sure you well know of.  I have one of the super 12 coils for my DFX and have been toying around with a "DSM" prog with it from time to time but with a machine like the DFX it takes time to get all the settings down.   Even without all the settings it can still be a very good machine for a person.  Best of luck to you and I hope you have many good finds and also look forward to hearing about some of your finds and hunts on the forum.
