Howdy, Hiero.

Welcome to THunting.com.   Your English is better than most of the native speakers on this site  Wink  .
So what part of Belgium do you live in?   I spent a lot of time in Belgium 35+ years ago, especially the provinces of Limburg, Liege, Luxembourg, and Namur.   The Belgian people were very kind to this young student and his family.

BA in Arizona

Hiero, I was living in Bitburg, Germany while my father was stationed at the US Air Base there.  We use to go on Volksmarches in the Bastogne--Arlon area as well as going up there for picnics and to see as much as we could of the region while we were there.   I think I walked over most of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg during the 2 1/2 years I lived in Bitburg

Thx evrybody,
BitburgAggie, I think you speak about the "Marche du souvenir" that started at Arlon and finished 5 days later at Vielsalm...it was in memeory of the liberation of this region by Patton.
It was every years a lot of soldiers and other people walking together; actually it's shorter (?2 days) around Bastogne.
Xavier, what are you detecting in South-Africa? gold?...or now lots of coins from aroumd the world near football stadiums Grin
