My name is Joe Sermarini.  I am the owner of Forum Ancient Coins.  I was browsing the internet trying to date an Iron fibula and found this Forum.  I look forward to reading some interesting discussions.  Thanks, Joe

Hi & Welcome Joe - what's the URL to forum ancient coins? I don't have any ancient coins, but I do like to look and learn. Sue

Understand - I think your site would be helpful for people finding ancient coins. I thought the history you gave Christian on his 2000 yr old coin was interesting. I did a quick look and your site is loaded with a lot of useful information. Sue

I think it is the biggest ancient coin website on the Internet.  NumisWiki has over 4500 articles, including the Dictionary of Roman Coins, Historia Numorum and the Library of Ancient Coinage.  We also have

You will find that this is a remarkably different forum. All information is appreciated and allowed. All.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello Joe! Welcome to our forum. I have just been to your site and it is a marvellous place for ancient coins.

Also thank you very much for identifying some of the coins which have been posted on our board. I would be very happy if you kept on checking back and help us id some of the ancient coins which our members find.

Thanks again and best wishes,

Christian
