I just surfed on in on a rainy day here in Houston. I'm looking forward to dropping in now and then when I get a chance. I like learning cool stuff and it looks pretty cool around these parts. :-)

Hi Idablo. Welcome to THunting. We're glad your here and hope you surf on in often. (BTW whereabouts in Houston (roughly)?-----not that I'm planning on dropping in for coffee since I live in Arizona now. ) Have you had much experience metal detecting or doing other types of treasure hunting?

Right now I'm down around the Pearland area. I'm still learning the subtleties of my detector so the only things I've found are trash and a few coins here and there...oh, and some canslaw. :-)

I read a lot, try to keep up with things. Glad I found this site.

My PC is having extreme difficulties and as soon as I can get situated I plan on being around the site a lot more.

Hey seldom, I hunted a little around San Luis Pass but didn't find anything...had a blast though! I'd like to beach/surf hunt on a regular basis...at some point I need to get a PI, I can already tell...lol
