New Mexico, Cool.  I know it is really hot there.  Here in Alabama , it is just now cooling down.  How do you deal with detecting during hot weather?

I have.  Some nice iron relics from old plantation, but I have yet to find my first coin!!!!  That will be such a
happy day.  I have my pin pointing down, I think I have not been in the right areas....
