Hi and thanks for the welcome!, I know its a shame what happened up here. Im from north east, Northumberland and would love some one to go detecting with from around here. Looking to join a club in the near future. Its great to here from everyone concerning this wonderful hobby and cant wait to get out again and find something else!. Found this ring which i believe is celt but i cant be sure any ideas? Shocked

sorry to be a pain but have you notified the portable antiquities scheme any artifact older than 300 years is subject to treasure trove and you need to inform your local finds liason officer and he/she will advise you ,, thorin
