Just joined and dropped in to say hello to all of you other crazy folks. Cheesy I say " crazy" in a good way. Normal folks thing that we are crazy nuts out there waving a wand around hopeing  to find lost treasure. Well, maybe we are somewhat crazy- but hey, who cares- we're having fun and that's the main thing.

About all else I have to say is - I sure hope that darn groundhog was right. I'm wintered out. Need some Florida sunshine and beach detecting.  Take car ya'll

Welcome from sunny Central Ohio. The grounghog seen its shadow last week so only 6 more weeks of this wonderful winter. Good Luck in all your hunting. This is the best site that you will find on the internet so enjoy.

Hi ya Bulldog. Greetings from New England where it is has been snowing twice a week for several weeks now!!   60+ inches CT. I heard they couldn't even find the Punxy groundhog this year  Grin One good thing is maybe the extra snow will bring good mojo to spring detecting.

Hey Leroy,
Ch 10 & 4 says it's going to get warmer starting Fri,Sat,Sun 48 and Monday. Hot darn! Maybe this freakin snow will go away for a few days, so we can all get out & play Smiley But, I did go bank detecting and pulled 3 silver 1/2s and 7 other good Kennedy 1/s that I'll sell this spring when we hit the road. I bought 9 rolls of 1/2s and had a good time going through them. But, No Bens or Standings.

Hey Mudflap,
Yeah, you guys have been totally hammered this winter. Man, you musta teed Mother nature off big time Cry
But, you're right, all of this snow will soften up the ground and things do rise up to the surface a little bit more when the grounds soft.
I've only been able to get out once, but things are looking up for this coming weekend, I'm keeping my fingers crossed Smiley
