Welcome and have fun, but those states you mentioned were not states at the time of Spain's illegal occupation of the western U.S. The Brits controlled far more territory in North America. The real people of the lands, the natives are the true owners who suffered greatly by all the conquering nations. The Brits and the French were perhaps the only ones who treated the Natives with some kind of dignity. I know the history of the Spains illegal occupation very well so your statement I do find disturbing. The treatment by the Spanish to the natives under the catholic church has been well documented as the most inhumane and worst ever. Should we talk about the Mayans or the Aztecs to name a couple or perhaps the Sioux. The Spanish policy of genocide of the natives was catastrophic from western north America down into central America. That same policy would be later adopted by the Americans to form a new nation. So in reality all the Native Americans have your country to thank for the loss of all their lands and all the cruel and inhumane practices that were perpetrated for the lust of power and wealth during the illegal occupation. As this is all in the past but will never be forgotten by many of my brothers and it is your country that should continuously now give thanks to all the Americans including Native Americans who gave their lives in both WWI and WWII to save not only your country but the world. And yes I am Native American, I am part Cherokee.
The land was never meant to be owned yet only cared for. If you take of the land the land will take care of you.
