   I'm a WW2 Veteran having fought across France and Belgium with the Canadian Infantry, 3rd Division, 8th Brigade.  I survived much.  At 87 years of age I enjoy life to the fullest.  Metal Detecting is one of my several hobbies including fishing, hunting, and just being out in the mountains.  Iiving in B.C. all my life.  Photo is me and my three sons on a moose hunt last fall.   John,  Vernonn, B.C. Canada

Howdy, Moosetalk.   Welcome to THunting.com.   I've seen some of that landscape you fought through....but it was a whole lot more peaceful and pretty when I saw it (even if there was still the occasional WWII related catastrophe from unexploded ordinance).

Thanks to all who replied to my introduction to TH'g.  One thing I forgot to mention was I've just been introduced to Geocaching and enjoy hunting for  this type of hidden treasure.  It keeps me active both in body and mind. Even at my age I sometimes feel the same as I did when I was eighteen.  Now--that's strange!!!!
