Go Up Go Down

   Hi,

I'm new here and to Metal Detecting.  Don't have a detector yet but I am looking to get into the hobby.  I plan to go detecting mostly on the beaches and in the surf in Delaware to start.  I've been reading up on detectors and would like to get a Tesoro Sand Shark if they ever start shipping them again soon.  If anyone has any comments on that machine I would love to hear them.  Thanks.

Bill

Hello, bill_nj........welcome from Arizona.   Living in the desert, I have a hard timing justifying a Tesoro Sand Shark, but that doesn't mean I don't one.

White's DFX and Garrett American !

It's good to read but quit wasting time. Try a White's DFX for the beach on the sand, in the "wet" sand, in the parks, in the desert and everywhere. Delaware has some good beaches all the way down to Ocean City, MD And there's shallow water in the Indian River Bay (Huh??) inside the inlet area, when the tide is low. There's stuff there. Just get going.

Welcome from Minnesota.  The only good reason to quit MDing for the day if it is pitch black, snowing or raining with wind blowing at +40mph.  Lightning might be a good idea also.     Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
