Hi all when i say from black country that is until next year when i move down south to a lil place called honiton/devon.
Im new to metal detecting im that new i dont even have a metal detector yet the closest i got to getting one was when i was a kid my action man had one.
Im currently bidding on a second hand md i wont say what it is you guys will probably rip the #### out of me.
Fingers crossed i will win the item and get hunting.

Welcome from Arizona. I think you'll find we're generally pretty supportive of newbies, especially when it comes to their first detector. You wouldn't believe the first detectors some of our moderators and senior members had.

Anyway, enjoy your time here. I recommend you spend some time reading the old threads---especially in the beginners board and any board that interest you.
