Pretty good place you have here. I have been lurking here for a bit and decided to sign up. Been treasure hunting and gold prospecting for a long time and with winter coming on will add this place to my armchair prospecting for the next few months.
I see Carl and Dell are still at each other, drawing attention to the little black boxes. My view on that is if the people whom are referred to as skeptics would not give place then there would be less people sucked into the traps. Ranting on only causes more curiosity and the side to "try it for myself" always wins since gold and treasure causes what seems to be an irresistable urge to go and buy whatever gadget that might help one locate the stuff. I personally think they are all in together to fester such a response in the weak minded. Their same ole arguments have littered forums for years with no winners except the manufacturers of the mentioned devices. I can use the devices but I choose not to. They work for some but only by demonic spiritual intervention. The ends do not justify the means. If they work for you then you are sucked in with them but you can choose to quit like I did.
Forget all the aura and magnetc field mumbo jumbo and just set a ouiji board out in the area for the same results. When you get real good and sucked in you don't even need rods or boxes. Just ask and they'll tell you where to go. Not worth your eternal soul!
Other than that this seems to be a great place.
