Hello all! My wife got me a Discovery 2200 for Christmas. We went out for our first hunt this morning. We only found some pull tabs and a couple of buried beer cans on this beach. Even though nothing was found we enjoyed it very much. Needless to say I am hooked! I am stationed here in Okinawa and hope to meet some other MDs over the next two years. See you on the beach!

Bill

Welcome from Arizona.   We've had a few folks stationed on Okinawa pop in on a regular basis

Hi Bill, and Welcome from Utah! It's snowing out here, and so the MD is put on hold until things warm up a bit. Glad to hear that you're going to be a beach-comber for a while! Those scoopers with the holes (just smaller than a dime) are very handy to have to scoop up your coins - if you don't have one, get one!
 Grin

We'lll be looking forward to seeing your posts in the 'Today's Finds' thread in this forum. Don't forget to post pictures of the finds too for us!
