Howdy folks,

Wanted to say hello to all as I'm a new member and hope to make good use of this board.  Been lurking on the boards and have found that the folks here seem to stay focused (most of the time) and don't mind sharing info.  Thats not the case in all places.

Been awhile since I did any prospecting, but my son in law is asking questions and wants to go, and for me, it's the perfect reason to get out of the house and have some fun.  Any gold we find is just icing on the cake, damn do I love icing.

Got my 2" dredge (sitting in the garage unused till the state comes to its senses), a couple of sluice boxes, pans, classifiers, hand made gold pump and who knows what else, so ripe roarin' and ready to go!  See ya'll up in the hills!

Thanks guys, appreciate the welcome. 

Got an "IN" in AZ, my folks live in Lake Havasu.  Pop does some drywashing and a bit of "pickin".  The old man is a great white hunter and taught me panning and sluicing back in 72, the family was on a 3 month vacation/hunting/fishing trip in Alaska.  I was a whole 17 at the time. 

Never been able to completely shake the Fever since then.  Seems I have a relapse every couple of yrs.  I guess I got a bad case this year, as I must have been contagious, now my son in law has it too.  At least my daughter ain't mad at us, she remembers how it was when she was a kid running around So. Cal looking for gold.
