Thank you everyone.  I got my Garrett Ace 250 on Tuesday and made a few holes in my yard with no luck.  Watched a video on you tube about pinpointing and made my first legit find last night.  I have no idea what it is, but it has metal in it.  I think it might be a button style foot from something.  Even though it is trash I was excited that I actually found something.  Maybe one day I will find something of actual value but it sure is fun even when finding trash.
