Expert:   A Ex Drip under Pressure.     You don't state what you like to hunt.   The Pro is hotter on Gold.

No the AT Pro will not go as deep as the Infinium because the Infinium is a PI machine and the AT Pro is a VLF,,, The AT Pro will find the small specks of gold but the better one would be the AT Gold as it runs at 18khz,,

Although the AT Pro runs at 15khz it would be better on the beach than the AT Gold and the AT Pro has a better discrimination than the AT Gold but where the AT Pro Lets you down is that it does not have an All Metal Threshold The AT Gold has a limited Discrimination setup but it does have a proper All Metal Threshold so it would be better for Prospecting especially with it having a frequency of 18khz, But with it being that high it would become troublesome on the Beach, Personally I would be buying the MXT Pro and it has found more Gold in Alaska than anyother Detector and not only that it is a favorite with CW Relic Hunters and I have used it in some pretty infested ares and it can also handle most of Autralias ground which is pretty wild at the best of times,

The Infinium will handle hotter ground because thats what PI machines do best and they go deeper of coarse.

I would checkout the AT Gold and if it doesnt have to be waterproof the Whites MXT Pro or the Fischer F75 Limited Black.

hope this helps.

Yep thats for sure,,, The trouble with the AT series is they have blocks of discrimination and you select the one you do or dont want unlike the MXTs and the Tesoros where you can adjust a variable knob  and Im not sure where the ATs are made,

Both are great machines for different reasons.  No single MD will will do it all flawlessly.  Since I'm an AT Pro fan, with considerable time on this machine, I'll list my positive and some negative points.  Pros: Very fast and easy learning curve for a sophisticated machine.  Very good at target id and discrimination.  Iron Audio feature (eliminates a lot of needless digging). Entire machine is waterproof to a 10 ft depth.  Cons: Good in saltwater beach increment but not great.  Possibly not as deep as some other machines (however, I regularlly dig  8-12+ inch targets on land.).  Two year warranty.  Lastly, consider what type of detecting that you will spend the most time on, read the comparisons, watch the You Tube videos of people using the machines that you like and hopefully make a educated buying decision.
